PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 DIFFERENT LITERARY DEVICES in your SHAPE poem.

• Once you have gone to the website, COME BACK TO THIS PAGE to find DIRECTIONS for how to complete your Shape Poem.

• USE YOUR TIME WISELY! THIS IS DUE @ THE END OF THE BELL TODAY!!!

• WHILE IN THE LAB, STAY @ A CONVERSATION LEVEL 0! IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION, RAISE YOUR HAND!!

DIRECTIONS:

1. STEP 1: Once you are on the website, type your FIRST & LAST NAME.
2. STEP 2: Click "BEGIN".
3. STEP 3: Click "SELECT A THEME" (bottom right-hand corner).
4. STEP 4: Select your desired theme (Nature, School, Sports, Celebrations)
5. STEP 5: Select a SHAPE for your poem.
6. "BRAINSTORMING", so just click the button on the Right, Bottom-hand Corner that says "CONTINUE."
7. STEP 6: Under "THINK OF WORDS", brainstorm a list of words that remind you of the shape.
8. STEP 7: When finished, click on the "CONTINUE" button (bottom right).
9. STEP 8: You are now ready to write your SHAPE poem. Click on the shape to begin.
10. STEP 9: Once you have FINISHED typing in your ENTIRE Poem, click "CONTINUE" (bottom right-hand side).
11. STEP 10: Click on the picture of the MAGNIFYING GLASS (with the + Sign on it).
12. STEP 11: READ over your Poem to make sure it is FREE OF ERRORS! -- If you need to make any changes, click the "BACK" BUTTON to go back and do so.
13. STEP 14: When you are POSITIVE that your Poem is Perfect and ERROR FREE, click the BUTTON that says "PRINT," located on the Right-hand Side of the screen.
